Refund Policy

Overview

At Folio Chain, we want you to be satisfied with your subscription. This Refund Policy outlines when and how you can request a refund for your Pro subscription.

Free Trial and Free Tier

Folio Chain offers a free tier with limited functionality. We encourage you to use the free tier to evaluate the Service before subscribing to a paid plan. No payment is required for the free tier.

Subscription Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions

  • Within 7 days of initial purchase: Full refund available upon request if you have not extensively used the Pro features.
  • After 7 days: No refunds for monthly subscriptions. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing period.

Annual Subscriptions

  • Within 14 days of initial purchase: Full refund available upon request if you have not extensively used the Pro features.
  • After 14 days: Pro-rated refund may be available at our discretion for the unused portion of your subscription. Contact support to discuss your situation.

Renewal Refunds

If your subscription renews and you did not intend to continue, contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge for a full refund of that renewal period.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at support@foliochain.io with the subject line "Refund Request"
  2. Include your account email address and the reason for your request
  3. We will respond within 2-3 business days

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. The exact timing depends on your payment provider.

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available in the following situations:

  • Requests made outside the refund window specified above
  • Accounts terminated for violation of our Terms of Service
  • Situations where extensive use of Pro features has occurred
  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions (unless otherwise stated)

Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation stops future billing but allows you to use Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

Refund returns your payment and immediately reverts your account to the free tier.

To cancel without requesting a refund, go to Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription in your dashboard.

Chargebacks

If you have concerns about a charge, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are happy to work with you to resolve any issues. Accounts with chargebacks may be suspended pending resolution.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
